Leonberger Wood Art Ornaments are made from multiple pieces of mahogany wood. Each piece is cut, shaped, sanded, treated with clear finish to enhance wood color and grain, and then carefully fitted together to form a 3-dimensional design. These are a modern version of the Italian art of intarsia which originated in the 14th century Siena, Italy. Each one is handcrafted in Vermont, USA. Size is approx. 3.5 inches by 3.5 inches.
