Dichroic Fused Glass Bernese Earrings

Dichroic Fused Glass is the process of layering glass in a kiln and melting/fusing to become one piece. The edges are ground and then fired again. The color and sparkle come from the dichroic coating on the glass which is metal oxides. The dichroic coating is etched off to make the designs and covered with clear glass. The word dichroic means 2 colors, that’s why some colors shift in the light. Each piece is unique and one of a kind. Made in the USA. Available in Blue and Green.
